And the countdown continues!!!
It's crazy to think that we will be married in less than a year. There is a lot to be done and tons of decisions to be made, but the Father has it all under control (thank goodness). We are trusting in Him to take care of everything, whether that means finding a caterer, getting a photographer, choosing the flowers, and even down to where in the world we'll be living/working next year! It's hard not knowing exactly what His plan for our lives is, but we do know this: we will be spending the rest of our time on earth glorifying Him and pointing others to Him. Isn't that enough for us to know right now? We don't need to worry about jobs or housing because He will provide like He always does, which is way more than we deserve!
Feel free to join us in upward thought over the next few weeks:
- Ask Him to give Jesse wisdom as he decides on his internship to Disney (and ask that Disney hurry up and give Jesse an answer as to whether he got the internship for the fall or not)
- That Sara finishes her last week of lab teaching strong… ask for opportunities to talk with her students about the Good News (the kids have to bring it up first, though)
- For Sara and Jesse's families as they help plan the wedding-- ask for unity, patience, non-awkwardness, and forgiveness where needed
- Think upwardly over Sara and Jesse's individual spiritual lives. Ask that He teaches them how to love others more like the Father loves us. Also-- that Sara and Jesse both grow closer to their Father everyday!
