"My refuge and my fortress..., in whom I trust.”We're comforted to know that we're not alone in this life, and that we were created for a Purpose much bigger than ourselves. As we get ready to embark on our move to Asia, we've been refocusing on the fact that we're not the reason for this opportunity. After meeting with one of our sweet friends yesterday, we were so encouraged by her words, "there is nothing to be afraid of... ask that He gets the glory when requesting specific things, and be so thankful when those are answered." We can't do what needs to be done on our own strength! Join us in interceding for those we'll meet for the next two years [and beyond].
Here's what we're needing now:
1. Ask that our hearts are continuously being prepared and that we are led to those who are seeking.
2. Also ask that our partnership team grows and that we are fully funded by the end of June, before we leave at the end of July.
3. Ask that our paths be led to those we are supposed to serve, and give us a love for whatever city we are working in.
4. Ask for unity in our team of like minded teachers, and ask that we're shown the right connections to make while we do the work.
We're going to miss all of our family and friends-- including the new friends we've been making in Montgomery, but we know those relationships will continue even when we're overseas because of the beauty of technology:)
If you want to sign up to be on our weekly email list, let us know, or just enter your information into the form on the top right side of this blog! We'll also be able to use Skype and iMessage when connected to Wi-Fi in China. With any form of communication, we will have to be careful about what we say. If you have any questions about that, we'd be happy to explain.
