“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” [M. 11.28]The last couple months have been very full for us. Somehow moving out of the country for a couple years will make family and friends desperate to spend time with you;) We've been trying to attend most weddings we're invited to, and work has taken over all other available weekends. Teaching and working during the week with little to no break on Saturdays and Sundays is exhausting.
He is faithful in giving us rest, despite the busy life we're leading as we prepare to pass our jobs to EAT South's new hires and begin our journey to China. Thankfully, we have been waking up earlier, getting time in the Word before starting our days, and trying to make time for the gym during the work day.
But sometimes we have to stay home and rest in order to be productive with our days, and that's okay because He doesn't expect us to be constantly on the go.
In Him, we find rest and peace. Such a comforting truth!

Most of our friends and family know about our future home in China, but check out these pictures. It is known for its irrigation system, the Himalayan Mountains on the edge of town, and the "small" population of around 600,000 people!
If you'd like to give toward our work in China, visit this LINK. Either way, please join us in lifting up the people we'll meet and our time spent in preparation for moving across the world.
