Ni hao!
We've been in Greeley, CO for over a week now, becoming certified in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and other cultural training at the University of Northern Colorado. Saying goodbye to friends and family was pretty hard, but He has great things in store for everyone while we're gone and for us in China!
So far, our days have been full.
We wake up around 7am [sometimes a little later...], go to breakfast, have a whole group reflection time 8-8:30, and then begin our long but interesting classes 8:45-10 and 10:15-12 with a lunch break until 1 or 1:30. We have class again 1:30-3:15 and 3:30-4:45. Dinner is 5-6, which is in the cafeteria like the other two meals. The cafeteria always has a lot of yummy fruit, so Sara is happy:)
Usually we don't have anything after 6, so we get to enjoy the outdoors with a game of frisbee, a run, or a walk around campus. The altitude makes running a little difficult, so we haven't run longer than 25 minutes yet. The dry, cool weather sure is a nice break from the Alabama humidity [and Dujiangyan, where we're living in China]!
